Lot 411: A very Large Rococo Style Bevelled Oval Wall Mirror 150x103cm

A large oval wall mirror featuring a heavily decorated Rococo style frame. The frame is constructed from a composite material over a wooden base, finished in an off-white paint with an intentional crackelure effect. The design includes a prominent pierced foliate and C-scroll cresting to the top and bottom, with scrolling acanthus leaf motifs bordering the oval aperture. The mirror plate is set with a wide bevelled edge. There are no maker’s marks, signatures, or manufacturer labels visible on the front or sides of the frame.
