Lot 435: A large six-light wrought iron and wood candelabra

A floor-standing or large tabletop six-light candelabra designed in a rustic folk-art aesthetic. The frame is constructed from wrought metal with a distressed silver-tone finish. The central vertical shaft supports a single top light and is accented by dark-stained turned wooden spheres. Two curved arms extend from the mid-section, while the lower section features three spreading arms, each terminating in a petal-form drip pan and a turned wooden socket base. The petal drip pans are finished in a dark patinated metal. The base is of tripod form, featuring a carved wooden decorative element and a small circular metal stabilising foot. A ring-pull handle is welded to the upper portion of the central shaft. The assembly features visible weld points and rivets consistent with a handcrafted construction. The item bears no visible maker’s marks, signatures, or labels.
