A set of six sterling silver teaspoons featuring angular, geometric terminals on the handles, reflecting an Art Deco influence. The reverse of each spoon bowl bears a series of struck hallmarks including a four-part maker’s mark consisting of the characters S over B and L over D within a shield-shaped cartouche, an anchor symbol, a walking lion passant, and a capital letter H in a square punch with clipped corners. A registered design number is impressed along the length of each stem reading RD NO 764722. The set is presented in its original black fitted case featuring a cream silk-lined lid with a small fabric label reading MADE IN ENGLAND and a black velvet-lined base.
