Lot 55: Sterling Silver Vesta Case 35g
A sterling silver vesta case featuring an embossed rococo-style foliate and floral design on the front. The decoration incorporates a central circular cartouche surrounded by chased scrolls and blooms. The reverse is plain, and the base is fitted with a corrugated striker. A suspension ring is attached to the side for use with a watch chain or chatelaine. The interior rim is struck with a series of hallmarks: the maker’s initials S D & F in a double-lobed cartouche, an anchor, a lowercase letter , and a lion passant.
