Lot 67: A Pair of Norwegian 830 Silver Serving Pieces in the Valdres Pattern circa 80g
A pair of Norwegian 830 fineness silver serving pieces comprising a fork and a large spoon. Both items are executed in the Valdres pattern, featuring flat, tapered handles that terminate in ornate, pierced openwork scroll and shell-style finials. The necks are further decorated with floral motifs and beaded borders. The reverse of each handle bears an impressed ‘830S’ mark, followed by a stylized spoon symbol and a stylized letter ‘N’ within a square cartouche.
