Lot 697: An Assortment of Decorative Objects Including a Windmill Globe Alarm Clock and Various Trinket Boxes

A collection of vintage and antique decorative objects, including a novelty globe desk clock and an assortment of small lidded boxes. The novelty mechanical desk clock is housed within a bitone metal globe with a brushed brass-tone finish and a contrasting silver-tone map of the world. The globe is hinged and opens to reveal a clock face. The dial features a gold-tone ornate scrollwork centre and a chapter ring of white circular plaques with black Roman numerals. The hands are black with luminous inserts. A printed mark on the dial reads Windmill. The clock is mounted on a stepped circular base with a curved support arm.
