Lot 71: A Collection of UK George V and George VI etc 50% Silver Coins circa 129g
A collection of British 0.500 fineness silver coinage dating between 1920 and 1946. The group comprises various denominations including half crowns, sixpences, and threepences. Notable specimens include George V half crowns dated 1921 and 1923, and a variety of silver threepences. The threepence designs include the crowned numeral type (1920, 1922), the oak sprig and acorn motif (1931, 1932, 1933), and the George VI shield on Tudor rose design (1937, 1938, 1939). The coins are accompanied by a handwritten cream-coloured card tag reading 50% Silver in black ink.
