Lot 717: An Assortment of Silver-plated and Stainless Steel Flatware including Community and Cooper Bros & Sons Ltd

An assortment of silver-plated and stainless steel flatware and serving pieces. The collection features several grouped sets including a partial service of forks and spoons with ornate floral and scroll handles. These pieces bear a rectangular impressed mark reading COMMUNITY. A separate group of forks and spoons is rendered in the Fiddle pattern, with some pieces featuring a script monogram at the terminal.

The cutlery includes multiple knives with white ivorine handles. One group of these knives features blades impressed with the mark COOPER BROS & SONS LTD SHEFFIELD ENGLAND STAINLESS. A second group of similar knives is also present.

Serving items include a pair of silver-plated serving tongs designed with one spoon-shaped and one spork-style end. A small butter knife is present with a yellow-toned handle and a blade bearing small, indistinct impressed marks. The collection also contains a pickle or cold meat fork featuring engraved tines and a mother-of-pearl handle with a white ferrule.
