Lot 733: An Assortment of Vintage and Contemporary Costume Jewellery including Hobbs London
A collection of vintage and contemporary costume jewellery including a Hobbs London necklace featuring a chunky matte gold-tone multi-link chain set with large cream faux pearls and gold-tone rondelles. The necklace bears a circular metal tag with the impressed characters HOBBS LONDON.
The assortment includes several brooches such as a silver-tone Scottish-style circular brooch set with multi-coloured glass agates in red, green, and brown tones around a central embossed boss. There is a silver-tone marcasite-set lizard brooch with green glass eyes, alongside other marcasite-style pieces in the form of a butterfly, a bow, a bird in flight, and a floral spray. Other brooches feature a large gold-tone sunburst design with a central spiral, a gold-tone ornate cross set with turquoise-coloured cabochons and a central faux pearl, and a silver-tone openwork brooch with a large oval turquoise-coloured cabochon.
Pendants include a large silver-tone brutalist-style square frame pendant with relief-molded animal figures on a snake chain, and a silver-tone openwork coral branch pendant set with small blue square-cut rhinestones.
