Lot 735: A Collection of Mid-Century Optical and Photographic Equipment including a Halina Paulette Electric Camera and Binoculars

A collection of vintage optical and photographic items. The lot features a Halina Paulette Electric 35mm film camera, fitted with a Halina Anastigmat F.C. 45mm f/2.8 lens. The camera body is constructed from metal with black textured panels and incorporates a built-in selenium light meter with a visible honeycomb cell. It is housed in a black leather half-case with a brown leather shoulder strap. Included is an 8mm clockwork movie camera in a black crackle finish, accompanied by a detachable textured pistol grip with a trigger release. The movie camera side displays an aperture scale with markings from 1.9 to 16.

The collection further contains a pair of 8 x 30 Porro prism binoculars with individual eyepiece focusing and a black textured finish. The right plate is printed with the characters 8 X 30, Field 7.5, COATED OPTICS, and No. 35430. These are accompanied by a tan leather neck strap and a brown stitched leather carry case with a red lining.

Also present is a mechanical self-stropping razor set in a metal case. The lid is decorated with a Greek Key meander pattern border and a central circular logo depicting a seated figure. The side of the case frame is stamped with the digits 4 5 0 2 7 7 7. The set includes a metal handle with a knurled grip, a strop mechanism, and a single blade. A large tan leather gadget bag with a zip top and shoulder strap is also included in the lot.
