Lot 737: A Collection of Royal Doulton Bunnykins English Fine Bone China Nursery Ware
A collection of Royal Doulton Bunnykins nursery ware crafted from cream-coloured fine bone china. Each piece features transfer-printed illustrations of anthropomorphic rabbits in various domestic and outdoor scenes by Barbara Vernon, framed by a border of running rabbits.
The collection includes:
– A cup depicting a puppet show with rabbits gathered around a Punch and Judy style booth.
– A cup illustrating two rabbits roller skating.
– A cereal bowl with a central scene of rabbits playing on a see-saw in a meadow with a cottage in the background.
– A cereal bowl showing a domestic scene of rabbits hanging wallpaper and decorating a room.
– A small plate featuring a camping scene with rabbits around a campfire and a tent, accompanied by mice.
