Lot 753: A Trio of Cold-Painted Metal Game Bird Figurines

A trio of decorative bird figurines, each cast in heavy metal alloy and finished with polychrome cold painting. The collection comprises a male ring-necked pheasant, a male golden pheasant, and a smaller game bird, likely a grouse or a female pheasant. The ring-necked pheasant is depicted with a long, sweeping tail and characteristic reddish-brown plumage. The golden pheasant features a prominent yellow crest and a spotted, elongated tail. The third figure is more compact with dark, mottled brown colouring and shorter tail feathers. Each piece displays cast detailing intended to replicate the texture of feathers. No maker’s marks, signatures, or country of origin labels are visible on the exterior surfaces of the figures.
