Lot 135: A Pair of Victorian Emerald Green Glass Apothecary Shelf Bottles 25cm tall

A pair of Victorian emerald green glass apothecary shelf bottles of cylindrical form. The vessels feature vertical fluted ribbing to the lower section and shoulder. Each bottle is fitted with a matching faceted emerald green glass stopper. The bottles are set with recessed gilt ground labels with black block lettering and red line borders. One label is inscribed ACID CARBOL LIQ: for Liquefied Carbolic Acid. The second label is inscribed LIN: CAMPH: AMMON for Ammoniated Camphor Liniment.
