Lot 480: A Trio of T.G. Green Cornish Kitchen Ware Lidded Storage Jars

A trio of T.G. Green Cornishware earthenware storage jars. Each jar is decorated with characteristic blue and white horizontal banded decoration and features a black transfer-printed label for PEAS, LENTILS, and RICE in a serif font. The jars are of cylindrical form with flared shoulders and rims. Each is fitted with an inset ceramic lid featuring a central round knob and matching concentric blue and white stripes. The bases bear a black transfer-printed shield mark for T.G. Green and Co Ltd, Cornish Kitchen Ware, Made in England.
