A pair of modernist bird sculptures by Winifred Wright. The collection comprises two abstracted avian figures including a turkey with a broad circular tail and a streamlined horizontal bird resembling a dove. Both pieces are executed in an off-white, matte-finished biscuit ceramic and are mounted on integral flared pedestal bases. The sculptures are hollow-cast with visible vertical mold seams to the bodies.
