A collection of 19th and 20th-century world coinage, tokens, and vintage buttons. The assembly features a variety of issuers, including UK silver florins dated 1920, 1928, and 1930 bearing the portrait of King George V and the inscription GEORGIVS V DEI GRA: BRITT: OMN: REX FID: DEF: IND: IMP:. A group of UK silver shillings dated 1946 and 1947 is also present. South American coinage is represented by a silver Bolivian 4 soles coin dated 1830, inscribed REPUBLICA BOLIVIANA 4 S 1830 J L with an image of a tree and two llamas, which has been holed for suspension. European examples include French issues inscribed 50 FRANCS 1952 LIBERTE EGALITE FRATERNITE and 5 FRANCS dated 1949 and 1950. German coinage includes Federal Republic 50 and 10 pfennig pieces and a Third Reich 10 reichspfennig. Further items include a Soviet Union 15 kopek coin dated 1941, inscribed 15 КОП 1941, and an Indian quarter anna dated 1912. The group is supplemented by several four-hole buttons and commercial tokens, stored within three clear plastic canisters with screw-top metal lids.
