Lot 659: A Pair of Royal Orleans and Geoffrey Pink Panther Ceramic Collectibles

This lot comprises two Japanese glazed ceramic items featuring the Pink Panther character. One item is a mug with a white body transitioning to a pink gradient finish at the foot. It features a three-dimensional character handle of the Pink Panther leaning against the vessel while holding a smaller cup. The base of the mug is printed in maroon with a character head logo and the text The Pink Panther Collection Exclusively Distributed by Royal Orleans TM & © 1981 UNITED ARTISTS ALL RIGHTS RESERVED. It also retains a small circular white paper label with a stylised RO monogram and the word JAPAN. The second item is a figurine depicting the character in a shrugging pose with palms upturned and his tail coiled around his lower legs. This figure stands on an integral white circular base.
