A copy of The Quest by Wilbur Smith, presented as a limited signed edition. The octavo volume is housed in its original pictorial slipcase, featuring Egyptian-themed artwork including a central seated figure and hieroglyphs which are mirrored on the dust jacket. The limitation page contains the printed text THIS IS BOOK NUMBER 486 OF A LIMITED EDITION OF 1,500, with a hand-written signature Wilbur Smith in black ink beneath. The dust jacket and slipcase include the title and author name, with the slipcase side panel further inscribed LIMITED SIGNED EDITION and The new Egyptian epic. The book is bound in boards with a decorative dust jacket protected by the slipcase. A white barcode label is adhered to the side of the slipcase (photo 1).
