Lot 736: A Collection of Royal Albert Old Country Roses Pattern Fine Bone China Tea Wares and a Boxed Set of Royale County Cutlery

A collection of fine bone china tableware in the Old Country Roses pattern by Royal Albert. The set comprises eight tea cups of Montrose shape, eight scalloped saucers, and eight scalloped side plates, all decorated with transfer-printed clusters of deep red, pink, and yellow roses with green foliage. The pieces are finished with hand-applied gold stippled gilding to the scalloped rims and handles. Also included is one miniature teapot and one miniature tea cup, the latter presented in a Royal Albert branded red box. The base of the ceramic items bears a printed mark consisting of a rose graphic above script text reading Old Country Roses followed by ROYAL ALBERT, BONE CHINA, and ENGLAND. The lot is supplemented by a boxed set of six silver-plated teaspoons. The white presentation box lid features a purple oval label printed with Royale County, COUNTRY MEADOW, Collection, SILVERPLATED & FINE PORCELAIN. Each spoon handle is inset with a porcelain plaque featuring a mixed floral spray.
