Lot 737: An Assortment of Royal Albert Old Country Roses Pattern Fine Bone China Tableware and Decorative Objects

An assortment of fine bone china tableware and decorative giftware in the Old Country Roses pattern by Royal Albert. The collection is decorated with the signature motif of clustered red, pink, and yellow roses with green foliage against a white ground, finished with scalloped rims and hand-applied stippled gilding. The group includes a set of four rigid-backed placemats contained within an original red presentation box bearing the Royal Albert name and crest in gold. Also included is a three-tier cake stand comprising three graduated plates and silver-toned metal assembly hardware. Decorative objects include a tabletop bell with a molded handle, a small basket with a braided ceramic handle, and a pair of pedestal candlesticks. The assortment further contains multiple vases of varying sizes and forms, two pairs of salt and pepper shakers with a coordinating oblong tray, a small lidded trinket box topped with a hand-modeled rose, and a heart-shaped dish inscribed with Happy Birthday in gold script. A miniature teacup and saucer set, a cream jug, and a stack of dinner plates complete the collection.
