Lot 91: Antique Sterling Silver Hand Engraved Double Prong Belt Buckle Circa 49g gross

A sterling silver belt buckle of rectangular form featuring a scalloped edge. The obverse is decorated with hand-engraved foliate and scroll motifs set against textured, cross-hatched grounds. The buckle is constructed with a central bar supporting two curved prongs. The reverse bears a hand-engraved cursive inscription reading E. Hoy. March ’07. A stamped mark is present on the reverse, consisting of a decorative cursive capital letter L followed by STERLING in uppercase block letters.
