Lot 180: An Assortment of Vintage British Enamel and Metal Badges

An assortment of six vintage British enamel and metal badges. The collection includes a circular openwork badge embossed with the text FOR KING AND EMPIRE and SERVICES RENDERED around a central GRI monogram under a crown. An oval brass badge features a relief-molded steam locomotive above a blue enamel bar reading RAILWAY SERVICE, with the initials L.N.E.R. embossed below. A circular badge for the St John Ambulance Association features a Maltese cross and is bordered by a green enamel ring reading LONDON & NORTH EASTERN RAILWAY. A decorative badge in the form of a spoked wheel features banners reading PROSPECT and TEMPLAR in blue enamel. Also included is a small triangular yellow enamel pin marked Y H A and a circular blue enamel pin with thirteen gold stars and a central white enamel monogram.
