Lot 210: A wooden three-masted sailing ship model in glass display case

A wooden model of a three-masted sailing vessel, featuring a dark-stained hull with visible planking and an attached rudder. The ship is rigged with three masts, a bowsprit, and cream-coloured fabric sails, including several furled square sails and a lateen sail on the mizzen mast. The rigging consists of fine cordage with numerous wooden deadeyes and blocks. A small wooden lifeboat is stowed centrally on the main deck. The stern is constructed with a small green-painted windowed gallery and flies a fabric White Ensign. The model is presented on a wooden stand within a rectangular glass showcase featuring a wooden top and base. A blank, wedge-shaped wooden block for a nameplate is positioned at the front of the case.
