Lot 218: A Group of Cast Bronze Swimming Dolphins on a Green Marble Base

A cast bronze sculpture depicting several dolphins swimming around stylized verdigris-patinated aquatic plants. The dolphins are finished with a dark brown polished patina and are arranged in a dynamic, circular composition to suggest movement underwater. The supporting foliage features a textured, oxidized green finish to simulate coral or seaweed. The entire bronze assembly is mounted onto a circular dark green marble plinth with a beveled edge. The underside of the marble base is fitted with a black protective fabric covering. No maker’s marks, signatures, or foundry stamps are visible on the metalwork or the base.
