A group of clear glass pharmacist or apothecary bottles of rectangular form with rounded shoulders. Each vessel features a ground glass neck and a matching ground glass stopper of rectangular form. The bottles are labelled in black enameled or painted lettering with the medicinal abbreviations “PIGM. MANDL.”, “ACID HYD. DIL.”, “QUININ. SULPH.”, and “AC. ACET. SAL.”. The bottle labelled “PIGM. MANDL.” retains a rectangular buff paper label below the main text printed with “Shake the Bottle” in black script. No maker’s marks or manufacturer names are legible on the items.
