Lot 321: Parker and Sheaffer Writing Instruments and a 10ct Gold Filled Fraternal Medal

This lot comprises a fraternal medal and two brushed steel writing instruments. The commemorative medal is constructed from gold-filled metal with blue enamel detailing, featuring a top pin bar embossed with P.W.P. The bar is connected by two chains to a central circular pendant. A small blue enameled star is suspended from the centre of the top bar. The central pendant features a relief of St George slaying the dragon, surrounded by a blue enamel garter bearing the motto HONI SOIT QUI MAL Y PENSE. Above the central motif are two crossed hammers. The reverse of the top bar is impressed 10KT 1-10. The reverse of the pendant is engraved CHARLES SLAVIN. / GENERAL GORDON / LODGE No 492 / 1916 / 10KT 1-10.

The writing instruments include a Sheaffer mechanical pencil and a Parker ballpoint pen. The Sheaffer mechanical pencil is finished in brushed stainless steel with a knurled grip section. The clip features a black S with a dot above it, and the barrel is incised SHEAFFER. It is accompanied by a grey plastic presentation case with a clear lid bearing a red, white, and black circular logo above the printed word SHEAFFER. The Parker 45 Flighter ballpoint pen is constructed from brushed stainless steel with a chrome-plated arrow clip. The cap band is incised PARKER and 45.
