Lot 346: A Portuguese Hipolito No. 0 Brass Portable Pressure Stove and Lithographed Tin Case

A mid-20th century Portuguese portable brass pressure stove housed in its original lithographed tin carrying case. The brass fuel tank is stamped with a gear and seahorse logo, a four-leaf clover symbol, and text reading FOGAO HIPOLITO, N.o 0, and PREFERIR SEMPRE OS PRODUCTOS HIPOLITO. The underside of the tank is stamped MADE IN PORTUGAL. The stove retains its burner assembly, pump handle, and threaded filler cap. The rectangular tin case features wire handles to the sides and is decorated with multi-colour lithography. The lid is printed with ORIGINAL, FABRICADO EM PORTUGAL, and the manufacturer’s seahorse logo. The front panel depicts a family picnic scene with a red motor car, and the reverse panel depicts a group of Boy Scouts at a campsite.
