Lot 652: A collection of NAO by Lladró porcelain figurines

A collection of glazed porcelain figurines featuring six individual subjects, including three tall female figures and three children. The group includes a woman in a light blue dress and wide-brimmed sun hat; a figure wearing a blue shawl and bonnet with hands resting on her skirt; a woman in a hooded grey-blue cloak holding a decorated fan; a child in a purple hat and cream poncho standing beside a brown ceramic jug; a boy in 17th-century style attire with a blue doublet and feathered hat; and a young girl in a white nightgown with pigtails. The collection is executed in a characteristically soft palette of blues, creams, and greys with a glossy finish.

The base of the child in the nightgown features a printed brown mark including the word NAO in a stylized font, HAND MADE IN SPAIN / by / LLADRÓ, and a copyright symbol for DAISA 1985, alongside a logo of a stylized ship in a square cartouche. Incised marks on this base include S 8 / H, L – 11, and 785 22 I. Other bases bear similar printed marks with copyright dates for 1987, 1988, and 1989. Incised numbers including 19, H, and 1 / G are present on various undersides. Some figurines retain partially removed white adhesive inventory stickers.
