Lot 382: An Alum Bay Glass Iridescent Studio Glass Vase

A studio glass vase of ovoid form featuring a wide, flattened everted rim and a circular foot. The body is composed of translucent cobalt blue glass, finished with a heavy iridescent surface treatment. The decoration consists of pulled trailing and feathered patterns in metallic tones of green, gold, and turquoise, creating an organic, textured appearance. The deep cobalt blue base colour is visible on the interior of the rim. The base has a ground and polished pontil mark. A gold-tone oval adhesive label is attached to the base, printed with the text ALUM BAY GLASS alongside a stylized logo of three curved lines.
