Lot 447: A Collection of La Coppera Tableware Hammered Copper and Stainless Steel Serving Pieces

A collection of Indian-style bi-metal tableware from the La Coppera Tableware Collection. The set comprises multiple components including three large round handi warming dishes with domed lids, two smaller open warming bowls supported by individual copper burners on circular base plates, and two small oval serving trays. The construction features hand-hammered martelé copper exteriors and polished stainless steel interiors. The lids are fitted with cast brass finials, and the warming stands and trays feature cast brass handles with decorative embossed scrollwork.

The interior of one piece bears an oval red and cream adhesive label with a stylized logo reading LA COPPERA followed by the trademark symbol and the text TABLEWARE COLLECTION. A separate small yellow adhesive label is present showing a hand-written price or inventory number 975. The underside of the copper components displays a concentrated hand-hammered texture radiating from the centre.
