Lot 96: A George V sterling silver sugar caster Birmingham circa 92g
A sterling silver sugar caster featuring a traditional baluster form supported by a circular spreading foot. The pull-off domed cover is decorated with a series of pierced foliate and scroll motifs and is surmounted by a gadrooned finial. The body bears several struck marks: an anchor within a square cartouche, a lion passant within a rectangular cartouche, and a capital letter K within a clipped-corner shield.
